Turnout was a bit light for the business meeting last month, and I'm not sure we got the officer situation 100% resolved. For now it looks like Sarah Peasley will be our new Local Secretary, and it seems we have a new void in the Deputy Local Secretary department. Hopefully we'll have all this resolved by press time next month.

In other news, the weather predicting rodents are at odds this year. Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and called for six more weeks of winter, while Buckeye Chuck insists an early spring is in store. It appears Prairie Dog Pete hasn't weighed in on the issue in over ten years, so I just don't know who to believe1

I'd also like to remind everyone that renewal season is coming up. If you membership expires in 2010 it will do so March 31st, so don't forget to renew. Also on the horizon, CultureQuest is in April if anyone wishes to get the ball rolling in that direction. And That's about all I know this month - stay warm!
